6 MONTH BABY BOY

This is way too late considering this past Saturday Baylor turned 7 months old(5.19.12)! I will try to keep this to stuff mostly about what happened the month leading up to Baylor turning 6 months old, since I will be trying to get a 7 month post up tonight.

Half a year...This has to be a good joke! I can not believe how incredibly fast the first 6 months went by.  Every stage keeps getting better and better! I feel like our little baby is now becoming a little boy. Especially with his little boy type hair, grunts, spits and banging.

How big are you:
Weight: 18lbs 11 oz (75th Percentile)
Height: 27.5 Inches (75th percentile)
Head: 17.8 inches (90th percentile)
Here is what you are wearing:
You are wearing size 3 Pampers Cruisers diapers
(we switched from Swaddlers the 1st week in April. You were blowing out a ton)
You are wearing mostly 9 month and 9 to 12. You have a few 6 month jeans that run a little long/big.

Here is what you are doing these days:

You have started on solids(March 31st to be exact)
So that means you have a bit of different eating schedule. We started with Rice cereal, but you really didn't care for it too much. So after a little bit of runny cereal, we moved on to doing veggies right away. We eventually came back to the rice cereal/ oatmeal and you liked it much better. You Love peas and squash the most. You also really like green beans. But you are such a great eater you eat it all up. You always have a bottle during each meal. We just started fruits and those are delish.
You nap twice a day and they are usually about 2 hours each. You also occasionally have 3 naps.
You sleep 12 hours at night still. And you sleep both on your belly and on your side. When you sleep on your side you cuddle up to your blanky and sleep against your bumper. I think I will always love watching you sleep. (At least at this point its not creepy)
You roll all over the room, but you definitely favor your left side. This causes you to roll in circles:) You also are a fan of doing the stationary swimmer! ...you are getting ready to be on the move!
You prefer to be naked and I don't blame you. Especially when we were in Texas(it was sooo hot). You just feel free and get so excited when I let you play naked. You get hot so easily, but you are also just like me and have horrible circulation. This means your hands and feet can get kinda cold. This makes for and interesting dressing and undressing game.

You have discovered your tongue. You just love to give everyone Raspberries that you see. You entertain yourself in the car by doing it forever.
You got your 3rd hair cut. We put you in your high chair for this one. Which made it much easier to keep you controlled and to get it done much faster. Here is a video of the Event.
You celebrated your first Easter. You looked so cute in your bow-tie and enjoyed all of your goodies the bunny brought you.  Aunt Jada got lots of pictures of you that I will post on here later.  We went to church and then spent the day at Nana and Pops with her brother Jon and his wife Mary.
We went to Houston April 12th through April 15th for your Uncle Davids wedding. Even though this was your 4th and 5th flights you finally received your "wings." You got to play with your cousin James and all of your Grammy's side of the family. They loved finally getting to meet you. We will have to plan a trip soon to see more of Uncle David and Aunt Michelle as they were pretty busy...which we figured they would be.
You pull hair. Yours, mine, or anyones! You pull your own when you are tired and then you pull everyone elses for fun....but it is only really fun for you!
You have been enjoying your cartoons more and more. Mickey Mouse clubhouse is still your favorite. But I also have been trying to let you watch more of the baby TV on On Demand. These have ABC's, 123's, animals, shapes, seasons, etc.
You also LOVE bath time. We got some more toys out and you have a little bath book. You splash and play the whole time, usually soaking whoever is bathing you.

You have gotten much harder to run errands with, mostly because that stupid car seat is just so stinking hot. You get uncomfortable and just want to get out and play. Don't worry Mommy doesn't like to carry that thing around either! But you still are so sweet to get a couple things done. I have such a soft spot for you that I feel bad if I keep you in there too long.
Is there a happier baby? I think not your constantly giggling, smiling and brightening up everyone's day! Keep it up:) It will be a charming trait for your future wife and everyone in your life!
Sorry I was so late with this post. I will for sure need to do your 7 month post right away so I don't forget what happened each month. You are so amazing, I keep getting so excited with every new thing that you do. It is nuts to think you have only been with us 6 months. I seems like we never lived a day without you.

The rest of his  6 month shoot:
